Medications we are unable to prescribe

  • DEA-controlled medications (including ADHD stimulant medications and anti-anxiety benzodiazepines)
  • Controlled substances for weight loss (e.g., phentermine)
  • Detox medications (e.g., Suboxone, Methadone
  • Medications intended for intramuscular injections
  • Sleep medications
  • Medications that require regular lab work and monitoring when lab work is not present for review during the appointments[4]
  • Medications that have the potential for abuse (e.g., pseudoephedrine, some muscle relaxants)[5]
  • Medicinal marijuana

[1]Available in pill, patch, ring, and gel forms. Service is available for women 18-45 who are not currently pregnant and have had a normal blood pressure reading in the past 6 months.

[2]Fast Doc doctors can prescribe the antiviral, Molnupiravir, in the treatment of COVID-19 to patients ages 18 and older when medically appropriate.

[3]Anti-obesity medications (e.g., Wegovy, Saxenda, Contrave) are available at the physician’s discretion, except in the following states - Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and New Jersey.
