About the Position

We are seeking a board-certified pediatrician to join our telehealth website as a remote physician. As a pediatrician for our telehealth website, you will provide virtual medical consultations to patients and their families using our telemedicine platform. You will collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations with patients and families using our telemedicine platform
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, including taking patient histories and performing physical exams
  • Diagnose and treat a range of acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and refer patients to specialists as needed
  • Provide patient education and counseling on topics such as nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records of patient encounters using our electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the patient’s care team to ensure continuity of care and appropriate follow-up
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other projects to improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction

Minimum Requirements

  • Board certification in pediatrics(ABMS or AOA)
  • Have an active medical license
  • Have an active Federal DEA certificate/number
  • No more than one current open malpractice claim
  • No open licensing board complaints and no probated or restricted licensure
  • High speed internet connection
  • Clear webcam and microphone
  • Current Medicaid provider is a plus.
