About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our telehealth website as a healthcare provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care remotely to patients via video conferencing or telephone.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct patient consultations via video conferencing or telephone, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
  2. Collect patient medical history and conduct physical assessments remotely, and order or perform diagnostic tests as necessary.
  3. Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and education on self-care.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records and comply with all privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  6. Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including continuing education and training.

Minimum Requirements

  1. A valid nursing license and certification as a nurse practitioner.
  2. Previous experience providing patient care in a telehealth setting is preferred.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients remotely.
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound clinical judgments remotely.
  5. Knowledge of electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare technology.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  7. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  8. Comfort with working in a virtual environment, including proficiency with video conferencing technology and other remote communication tools.
  9. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, including HIPAA and state licensing laws.
